The Travel Network Group will hit the road later this month and into May to ensure members are ready for GDPR.
Chief executive Gary Lewis will personally stage a number of seminars to discuss the new data protection regulations, which come into force on May 25.
GDPR specialists Moore Stephens will assist the network deliver the training.
Events will be held in Exeter, London, Birmingham and Manchester during “late April/May” said the network.
Sessions will include a presentation on the new laws and a workshop guiding members through the necessary paperwork.
Said Lewis: “Since January, we have been working hard behind the scenes to provide members with insight and support on the changing legislation and new regulations that are being introduced across the UK from May 25.
“We have developed a comprehensive GDPR policy and guidance document, which has been developed for all members across all our membership propositions, and have hosted a number of successful webinars.
“The next step we feel is to take to the road and visit as many members as we can, and use this as an opportunity to give them an in-depth briefing on what they need to prepare for as well help with completing the paperwork.”
More than 70 members have registered for the events in Exeter (April 24), Manchester (April 25), Birmingham (April 26) and London (May 1).
