A record number of candidates stood for election in 2022 for the second consecutive year.
ITT chair Steven Freudmann said: “It is an indication of the strength of the Institute that once again we have a record number of candidates.”
Pearce was joined by fellow new board members, Stansted airport’s head of health, safety and fire, Teresa Arnone; Julie Murphy, UK and Ireland country sales manager for All Nippon Airways; and Travel Gossip managing director Bruce Martin.
Leeds Beckett University’s head of tourism and hospitality management Peter Robinson and Tourism Ireland’s Donna Allcock were re-elected to their board positions, while Stephen Bath and Angela Day did not retain their seats.
Freudmann thanked all 19 candidates for standing and announced the first meeting of ITT’s newly formed board will take place in London on 21 July.
