Tour operating giant Tui has created a new flexible amendment policy to give customers “complete peace of mind” when booking holidays this summer.
The new policy allows customers making a booking between 23 July and 30 September for travel between 20 August and 30 April 2021 to amend their holiday once for free up to 28 days before departure.
The free amendment policy applies to holidays using Tui Airways flights for Tui, First Choice and Marella Cruise bookings. This policy also applies to third-party agents booking Tui holidays.
Tui has also unveiled a new deal offing £300 discounts per booking on package holidays to 140 hotels available to book from 23 July for August departures.
Richard Sofer, commercial director, Tui UK & Ireland, said: “We are in extraordinary times with circumstances that are constantly evolving, and we know we need to be adaptable.
“I’m confident our new flexible amends policy will give customers the peace of mind they need to book a holiday knowing that they can change it if, for whatever reason, they decide they want to go somewhere different or delay their trip.
“It’s been more than four months of not taking people on holidays, so we’re excited to offer more flexibility so our customers can make the most of what’s left of the summer.”
