Thomson and First Choice will grow their long haul offering by 20% as further additions are made to the forthcoming winter season and summer 2017.
Speaking at a launch event for the summer 2017 season, Tui UK & Ireland managing director Nick Longman said destinations including New York, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Cape Town are some of the new product for the winter season.
The Maldives are also being introduced to winter 2016 while both Dubai and Miami will be on the books for summer 2017.
Longman said closer to home destinations including Nice, Murcia, Corsica and Kalamata are all being added while an additional 150,000 seats to the Balearics will mean more than one million seats are available to the islands next summer.
The Sensimar, Family Life, SpalshWorld and SuneoClub brands will also see 12 more properties are being added to the respective programmes.
Nick Longman said: “Long haul remains an important growth area for our business and we want to continue to provide more choice and flexibility to our customers. This is a key focus as we start our journey to move from Thomson to TUI late next year.
“The most searched for terms by customers on the Thomson website are New York, Vegas and the Maldives, and we wanted to seize the opportunity to deliver what customers are demanding.
“We hope customers will be as excited as we are about our new hotels and destinations for summer 2017 and the increased amount of holiday choice we will offer.”
