Mark Bather joins from O2 to lead Tui’s 600-strong retail network, replacing Jill Carter who moved across the group to become director of customer delivery at Thomson Airways earlier this year.
He will report into director of cruise and distribution Helen Caron and work with divisional sales managers Stephen Bracegirdle and Michelle Baillie to build the team.
Upon his appointment being official announced, Bather tweeted: “Delighted the announcement about my move to @TUIGroup is now common knowledge. Loved every minute with O2, but great opportunity ahead.”
