The policy was curbed after King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, became the last of 10 terminals to have its restrictions lifted.
David Lapan, the US department of homeland security (DHS) spokesperson confirmed the ban’s ending in a tweet yesterday (July 19).

The ban has now been lifted on all nine airlines affected including Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines and Royal Jordanian.
