Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Announces Landmark Global Renovations

Twenty percent of the Fairmont portfolio is currently undergoing active transformation across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.

The redesigned lobby reception area at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, featuring warm wood panelling, mid-century modern furnishings and a statement pendant light, following the 2026 renovation.

Active Renovations:
Fairmont Pacific Rim, Vancouver: The Forbes Five-Star spa has been elevated with a new Himalayan Salt Sauna, couples' lounge and stone flooring, completing June 2026.

Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda: The largest renovation in Bermuda's history. The USD $550 million redevelopment reimagines 593 guestrooms including 44 suites. Reopening late 2026, the transformed resort introduces a new Beach Club with a half-Olympic-sized pool, oceanfront grill and private cabanas.

The Savoy, London: Following reimagined Edwardian bedrooms and suites in 2025, the Art Deco bedrooms are set to be refreshed in Summer 2026.

Fairmont Chateau Laurier, Ottawa: Model room completion targeted July 2026; lobby renovations December 2026. Akira Back restaurant opened March 2026.

Fairmont Waterfront, Vancouver: Phase one complete with 96 renovated guest rooms. Further phases include the lobby, ARC Restaurant and Fairmont Gold.

Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva: Closed for full transformation of its iconic facade and 400+ guest rooms. Reopening 2027.

Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, Quebec City: Adding 34 Gold guestrooms alongside renovation of 203 rooms and 13 suites, completing 2028.

Fairmont Tremblant, Quebec: A new Presidential Suite of 1,200 square feet debuts fall 2026.

Recently Completed:
Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Canada: Main lodge reopened June 2026 with redesigned rooms, three new dining experiences and an Adventure Concierge.

Fairmont Pittsburgh: Guest rooms and Health Club refresh now complete.

Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii: Multi-million dollar transformation completed June 2025 across guest rooms and Fairmont Gold floor.

Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui: Signature restaurant Ko has reopened under Executive Chef Matt Dela Cruz.

Coming Soon:
Fairmont Winnipeg closes 1 July 2026 for full transformation; reopening summer 2027. Fairmont Beijing closes 1 September 2026 for complete renovation.

Further transformations underway include Fairmont Banff Springs (Conference Center, February 2027), Fairmont Royal York, Toronto, and Fairmont Nile City, Egypt.
