Specialist tour operator, Involved Holidays, introduces four new itineraries to its ever-growing portfolio of relaxed, guided walking holidays.
New itineraries in established destinations include ‘Walking in Brescia Lakes’ in northern Italy, the ‘Castles of the Loire Valley on Foot’ in France and ‘Veneto Trails & Rails’ also in Italy. Plus, a brand new destination, Montenegro, will also feature in 2027.
Each new itinerary offers the operator’s tried and trusted combination of breathtaking scenery, knowledgeable local guides and the perfect balance of guided exploration and unhurried downtime. All four provide greater scope for agents to sell and are available to book now for 2027 departures.
Expanding its Balkans product, ‘Walking in Montenegro’ takes travellers on an adventure via rugged mountain railways, ancient coastal towns and the shimmering expanse of Lake Skadar – Europe’s largest lake. Featuring half board accommodation in Budva and Kolasin, this itinerary includes five guided walks led by knowledgeable local experts.
‘Walking in Brescia Lakes’ introduces guests to the very best of Italy’s northern lake district. Staying at the four-star Novotel Brescia 2, guests will enjoy three guided walks that take in Lake Iseo’s northern shores, the hilltop hermitage of San Defendente, the panoramic Rocca di Manerba ruins above Lake Garda and the rolling trails of the Franciacorta wine region.
The second new itinerary addition, ‘Castles of the Loire Valley on Foot’ takes guests through one of France’s most celebrated regions. Staying two nights half board in Blois before moving to a further five nights half board in Amboise, guests are treated to three guided walks exploring the Loire Valley’s magnificent châteaux, sweeping river landscapes and elegant vineyard countryside.
Finally, ‘Veneto Trails & Rails’ explores the beautifully underrated university city of Padua, providing guests with the chance to experience the dramatic Brenta Valley, the exceptional Euganean Hills and via a stunning Venetian Lagoon to the to the village of Chioggia.
