Wilderness Reserve, the 6,000-acre private estate in Suffolk's Yox Valley, has joined Relais & Châteaux, an international collection of independently owned luxury hotels and restaurants.
Spanning Sibton Park, Chapel Barn and the newly unveiled Blyth Estate, Wilderness Reserve offers 28 houses and cottages set among ancient woodland, lakes and parkland. Accommodation ranges from one-bedroom lakeside cottages to expansive Spa Houses for larger groups, combining privacy, flexibility and immersive countryside experiences.
The partnership recognises Wilderness Reserve's commitment to exceptional hospitality, gastronomy, wellness, sustainability, design and adventure. All properties will be bookable through Relais & Châteaux, while Sibton Manor will also be available by individual room. Chapel Barn, Blyth Manor and Blyth Barn will remain exclusive whole-house stays.
Francisco Macedo, Chief Operating Officer at Wilderness Reserve, said: "Being accepted into Relais & Châteaux reflects years of investment and our commitment to creating something truly special. We set out to build a destination offering complete privacy, genuine flexibility and an authentic connection to nature.
"Whether welcoming family gatherings, weddings, corporate retreats or milestone celebrations, guests can experience an entire estate on their own terms. Joining Relais & Châteaux is both an endorsement of what we have built and a responsibility to continue raising the bar."
Coinciding with the partnership, Wilderness Reserve has unveiled Otter Lodge, a one-bedroom thatched spa lodge on Blyth Estate overlooking Blyth Lake. Inspired by Suffolk's native otters, the retreat features a private jetty, hot tub, sauna, steam room and interiors celebrating local craftsmanship, alongside modern comforts including air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, complimentary minibar and pantry.
Also launching are the Bothy Studios, four new en-suite studios adjoining Blyth Barn. Available to book with the property, they provide accommodation for eight additional guests attending celebrations and events.
