Created in partnership with iHeartMedia – America’s largest podcast publisher - the cruise will feature a new line-up of true crime podcasts including:
* Disgraceland - hosted by Jake Brennan, who explores the criminal stories behind some of music’s most famous names.
* Buried Bones - journalist Kate Winkler Dawson and forensic investigator Paul Holes revisit compelling historical crimes, using modern investigative techniques to uncover new perspectives on old mysteries.
* Wisecrack - a true crime series produced by Jodi Tovay about a comedian whose disturbing stage routine sparks an investigation into a real-life case.
The five-night voyage will depart roundtrip from Miami, Florida onboard Scarlet Lady on March 20, 2027, calling at Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands and The Beach Club at Bimini, Virgin Voyages’ private beach club in the Bahamas.
Sailors (guests) will be able to attend live podcast recordings, meet the hosts and gain behind-the-scenes insight through ‘How to Podcast’ sessions. The voyage will also feature themed trivia and special onboard Happenings (events). Prices start from £826 per person.
SJ Walker, UK Director of Sales at Virgin Voyages, said: “The evidence is clear: our Sailors have a killer appetite for experiences they simply cannot find on an ordinary holiday. Bringing back our True Crime Voyage with a completely new line-up gives fans the chance to get closer to the voices behind the stories, while still enjoying everything they love about Virgin Voyages, from exceptional food and entertainment to the freedom of a premium, kid-free escape.
“With the last True Crime Voyage selling out, our First Mates (travel agents) should encourage their clients to investigate this departure sooner rather than later.”
