Unveiling the new business class seat promising clients “a front row throne”

Agents can now book their clients in Eurowings’ Premium BIZ seat from London Heathrow. It's a completely new design for Eurowings, which is the only airline to offer this particular seat on short- and mid-haul flights. 

The new Premium BIZ seat is an upgrade for clients travelling in the carrier’s BIZclass, billed as a personal retreat in the sky. They can stretch out, unwind, and enjoy thoughtful touches alongside attentive service. 

Many travellers are used to just having an empty middle seat when they travel in business class on traditional short-haul and medium-haul aircraft. However, Eurowings’ exclusive seat offers agents a new proposition, as it has been designed to offer more space, a luxurious design, and smart features that make each flight truly comfortable and enjoyable. With the seat offering “unprecedented cushioning”, Eurowings’ team have said: “Flying should be simple – and premium comfort at 30,000 feet should be too.”

The new Premium BIZ seat is available on selected flights from 1 December. Clients can book it when flying on the airline’s eight new A320neo aircraft, which have been specially refurbished to include the new premium experience.

Clients can enjoy the new Premium BIZ seat on all flights between London Heathrow and Berlin, with up to 19 flights a week. The new seat is also on offer on selected flights on the London Heathrow to Dusseldorf service, with up to 28 flights available each week – and both routes offer at least one daily flight.

The new seat is an ideal option to promote to clients who value space and comfort and want more privacy on their flight, including couples, luxury travellers, solo customers and business travellers.

Each of Eurowings’ new A320neo aircraft offers eight Premium BIZ seats, located in the first two BIZclass rows of the cabin, at the very front of the aircraft. Billed as “front-row thrones”, they are arranged in pairs in a comfortable 2-2 seating layout, giving each passenger more privacy.  

The seats also promise extra space to relax, with a host of smart features. With nearly a metre of legroom, a reclining, adjustable backrest, and an integrated leg rest, it’s easy for travellers to settle into the perfect position. 

Each seat is extra-wide and luxuriously cushioned, and the ergonomic design has been tailored to provide more comfort.

Travellers can also stay powered up on their flight, thanks to a USB port in their seat – perfect for charging electronic devices while they unwind or work. They can also store their belongings safely in the convenient side-seat storage, which is ideal for headphones, books or tablets.

The Premium BIZ seat also boasts an integrated fold-out cocktail table, which travellers can easily access and quickly open to hold their meal, laptop, or reading material, and it’s just as easy to stow away.

Welcoming service  

As well as enjoying the brand-new seat, guests can also look forward to a warm welcome onboard their flight. On all routes they start their journey in style, with a drink, a refreshing towel and a sweet or savoury snack. On short-haul flights passengers can choose from the onboard bistro menu. 

Those travelling to Dubai, Palma de Mallorca and Malaga via Germany also benefit from an additional pillow and blanket, a high-quality amenity kit, and in-flight dining served on porcelain tableware.

How to book the Premium BIZ seat 

Bookings are now open for the Premium BIZ seat on flights from 1 December onwards, and they are easy to secure for your clients. On the Eurowings web booking platform, select a BIZ Class flight, and either choose their Premium BIZ seat upgrade during booking, or add it later in the My trip area.

Fares from London Heathrow start from €119.99, and the Premium BIZ seat can be added to the BIZclass fare from an additional €60.

The seat can also now be added on the website to existing bookings made via GDS or Direct Connect, meaning now is the perfect time to secure these front-row seats for your clients' upcoming travels.
