Reeva Kingston, managing director of Olympic Holidays, addressed partners and stakeholders at a WTM London breakfast meeting on Tuesday (4 November) where she revealed: “In the next 12 months, we plan to increase our UK client base by 25% year-on-year – we're going after younger generations in particular.”
In the past year, the team has been expanded with the appointment of Leanne Edwards as head of sales, and two business development managers, one for the north [Danni Gallagher] and one for the south [Cassie Mullen].
Kingston said these appointments, combined with investment in technology, had laid the foundations for the business to grow in 2026. “We’re about to launch a new system imminently, that will offer dynamic contracting and the ability to book a range of extras and experiences, including car hire, golf, and bikes," she said.
"It’s one of the biggest investments we’ve ever made. For the travel agent, it means they no longer need to go to multiple suppliers to make one booking – they can come to us for it all, and if one of the element changes, we can sort it all, from start to finish.”
There will also be new destinations, although she declined to reveal exactly where, only promising: “We will announce these by the end of December.”
New destinations form part of the operator’s mission to be known as more than a Greek specialist. “Everybody knows us as a Greek specialist and we want to change that," Kingston continued. "We need to drive more awareness of our wide range of destinations, from India to Egypt, while also strengthening our position as the leading Greek island hopping specialist.”
Kingston took on the role of acting managing director after former managing director Michael Vinales left the business last December, an appointment that has now been made permanent. She’s worked for Olympic Holidays for more than 25 years, and says she’s extremely “proud and honoured” to be leading the team.
Alongside the investment in tech, she highlighted strengths that she said made Olympic a class apart: “In a world of AI, we give our clients the best customer service,” Kingston claimed. “That personal touch makes the Olympic Holidays difference.”
