International sales director Luke Smith, senior account manager Gemma Ashworth and account manager Danielle Kerton all posted on LinkedIn on Thursday morning (24 April) looking for new jobs.
Smith wrote: "After 12 enjoyable and memorable years working at Carnival Cruise Line the time has come for me to embark on a new opportunity. I am open to work and exploring all opportunities so if you hear of anything suitable then please let me know."
Kerton and Ashworth both posted similar messages around the same time.
A week ago, the line’s parent Carnival Corporation confirmed it was in talks with staff to discuss "potential future opportunities within the wider business" as it outlined plans to shut Carnival Cruise Line’s UK office on 12 May.
At the time, a Carnival Corp spokesperson said: "After careful consideration of our strategic objectives for the UK market, we have made the difficult decision to propose the closure of the ‘Seavacations’ team in the UK and sunset this part of the organisation."
They added: "We are currently having individual conversations with the Carnival Cruise Line team in the UK to discuss potential future opportunities within the wider business. Our priority is to provide the necessary support to minimise the impact for those affected."
Carnival Corporation declined to comment further when approached by TTG on Thursday.
