Air Transat is to continue its Toronto flights from three UK departure points this winter.
The Canadian carrier will fly to the city from Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow having restarted flights late last month.
All services will be operated by the airline’s new narrow body Airbus A321neo LRs.
Air Transat is offering flexible options to book, change or cancel a trip.
“Even though the entire tourism industry has been disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, the desire to go abroad for a change of scenery and for new discoveries is still very much alive in travellers,” said Annick Guerard, the airline’s chief operating officer.
Bookings made before 31 August 2020 allow passengers to change travel dates or destination at no charge up to 24 hours before departure. In the event of a cancellation, they will obtain a travel credit that will be fully transferable and have no expiry date.
