Spain’s Balearic Islands are ready to welcome back Brits after the country reopened its borders to British holidaymakers this week without a quarantine requirement.
The Balearics tourism board has created a new, inspirational promo video for the destination, comprising footage from across Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera.
The video highlights the region’s sandy beaches, cultural sites such as Palma’s gothic cathedral and Menorca’s megalithic monuments, as well as its whitewashed buildings and rural landscapes.
Vicent Torres, deputy director of the Balearic Islands Tourism Board, said; “This short video illustrates why so many British travellers of all ages and tastes choose our islands time after time for their holidays.
"The hashtag #CantWaitToGoBack echoes how many people are feeling about our islands and we also wanted to demonstrate that we are equally looking forward to welcoming our guests back.
"We hope this video reminds British residents what is awaiting them in the Balearic Islands."
