Brand USA has launched a Global Marketplace virtual platform allowing the destination to interact with the worldwide travel industry.
Brand USA Global Marketplace will feature a range of marketing campaigns designed to connect the international and US travel industries during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Christopher Thompson, president and chief executive of Brand USA, said: “We are thrilled to launch Brand USA Global Marketplace in 2020.
“This is a ground-breaking digital platform that will enable US partners and international audiences to foster meaningful business relationships and critical connections, at a time when it is needed most. Together, we’re building the future of US tourism.”
The online platform will include networking initiatives, educational seminars and events across multiple time zones with around 150 US-based tourism organisations and companies expected to use the platform.
Tom Garzilli, chief marketing officer of Brand USA, added: “Our industry is resilient, and when it is safe to do so, the world will travel to the United States again. In the meantime, Brand USA Global Marketplace will inform and support our partners and keep the US top-of-mind among trade, media, and consumers.”
