Cruise & Maritime Voyages has announced a new Grand Africa & Indian Ocean Voyage that visits 31 ports across 3 continents departing on January 6, 2020, writes Holly Ford.
The trip goes on sale on June 28, with an early booking offer of buy-one-get-one-free, meaning prices from £5,999pp (full fare £11,999pp).
The 78-night cruise will visit countries including Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Mauritius, India and Oman and include two equator crossings and a Suez Canal transit.
Ports of call include Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Zanzibar.
Passengers will be able to view Namibia’s Skeleton Coast, climb Table Mountain and spot whales and great white sharks off South Africa. There is also an overnight safari at Tsavo East National Park in Kenya where travellers can potentially spot the big five.
Indian Ocean ports include the Maldives, Seychelles and Sri Lanka. In India, passengers will have the opportunity to see the Taj Mahal for a cultural experience; further ports will include Goa and Mumbai.
Guests can then explore the famous sites at Egypt and Jordan and reach the Mediterranean after the Suez Canal crossing, returning to Bristol on March 24, 2020.
