Cox & Kings Travel (UK) said in a statement: "Cox & Kings Travel Ltd (UK) would like to clarify that it is fully operational.
"The situation reported relates only to Cox & Kings Ltd (India), which is a separate business operating out of India.
"Cox & Kings Travel Ltd (UK) operates under its own Iata licence and is unaffected by the situation in India. It is therefore business as usual at Cox & Kings Travel Ltd (UK)."
Iata confirmed in a statement the India-based business was suspended from its BSP on 28 June after it defaulted on its BSP payment.
Citing a statement from the operator, India’s Business Standard reports Cox & Kings is “working closely with its lenders... to bring the situation back to normal as soon as possible”.
