Eastern Airways is to take over another former Flybe route, linking Leeds Bradford with Newquay.
A daily weekday service will start on 9 July, with flights taking just over one hour.
Roger Hage, Eastern Airways’ general manager commercial and operations, said: “As a UK regional airline, our business is to connect the various business and tourism sectors which are vital to the economic recovery of the UK.
“We’re extremely pleased to serve Newquay, re-establishing a link from Leeds Bradford at a time when UK travel begins to return for the summer peak. Our service will save valuable travel time connecting the Cornish coast with Yorkshire.”
Eastern Airways will also begin a Leeds Bradford-Southampton route on 29 June and has additionally confirmed a Teesside-Newquay service from 6 July.
