Emerald Waterways has introduced a deposit protection scheme for new river and yacht cruise bookings.
The guarantee covers 2021 Emerald Waterways river bookings in Europe and Asia and all Emerald Yacht Cruise departures.
In addition, bookings made before 31 July 2020 will enjoy savings of up to £1,000 per couple and a complimentary premium drinks package. New bookings paid in full by 31 October 2020 will also enjoy an additional discount of £250 per couple.
David Winterton, Emerald Cruises’ director of global brand and marketing said: “Our second-edition brochure for 2021 has allowed us to tweak our offering to ensure our product is really hitting the spot.”
Emerald’s latest Star-Ship, Emerald Luna, will make its debut in spring 2021. The 180-passenger vessel is the ninth in the Emerald Waterways Star-Ship fleet and the eighth to sail in Europe. Emerald Luna will operate 18 sailings across destinations including the Black Forest, Belgrade, and Rotterdam and these are included in the programme.
Other new itineraries include a guided tour of Dracula Bran Castle in Brasov, Romania as part of a dedicated four-night stay-then-cruise extension. As well as the vampire’s home, guests will have time to explore the ancient Gothic town, which inspired Bram Stoker’s novel, and enjoy the capital Bucharest.
Also new for 2021 is a three-night extension in Istanbul, complete with a guided tour. Both extensions can be added to Emerald Waterways’ nine-day Enchantment of Eastern Europe sailing, which takes in Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria, from £3,895 per person, departing 7 June 2021.
