Agents can now book online appointments with Explore’s agency sales team.
The platform allows agents to filter the adventure specialist’s team by expertise.
Other options include sessions on trending holiday options, training on specific countries or trips, marketing support and even co-hosted events.
The operator said the tool had been designed for "the new remote working environment" created by the Covid pandemic.
Explore’s head of global sales Ben Ittensohn said: "To adapt to the current environment, we understand we need to make positive changes to suit the needs of our agency partners.
"With face-to-face visits paused for the time-being, we‘ve devised a new appointment booking system that enables agents to engage with our team in the usual manner, covering the same topics as an in-person sales call, but within the ‘virtual’ world."
Ittensohn added he believed the platform would offer better support to the growing number of homeworking agents working with Explore.
Appointments can cover a wide range of additional topics, from sessions on particular holiday specialities such as walking and cycling, specific countries or destinations, brand training and ways in which Explore can assist with marketing support.
Agents using the tool can select the BDM they’d like to meet with by expertise and specialism outlined in their profile, choose what sort of session they’re after (such as a video call or a simple phone call) and then book a time.
Sessions are then loaded directly into both the BDM and the agent’s calendar, with options to easily reschedule or cancel an appointment.
Ittensohn added: “We’re confident agents will find the system simple to use and that it will help connect them with our team who are currently on flexi-furlough.
"Agents can see when our BDMs are working on a weekly basis, and can book appointments up to 60 days in advance.”
