Collapsed OTA’s former boss Paul Evans is reported to be running a hotel in Scotland.
Evans, who ran Lowcost until it collapsed in July 2016, has taken over Torrs Warren hotel in southwest Scotland, according to The Scottish Sun.
The hotel in the village of Stoneykirk in the Dumfries and Galloway region, has eight rooms and two suites and has undergone “a complete refurbishment” in recent months, according to its website. Room rates start at £65 for a single room.
When approached by the newspaper, Evans is reported to have said: "I’ve got nothing to say at all, thank you."
Lowcosttravelgroup collapsed with debts of around £25 million two years ago and left thousands of holidaymakers out of pocket.
