The domestic self-catering specialist said that it had seen a 20% increase year on year in group bookings from families for these breaks in locations close to home, as part of Hoseasons Hot Tub Month during November.
The company has produced a video to coincide with the marketing drive, which has already had more than 460,000 views on YouTube.
Hoseasons features more than 3,000 lodges with hot tubs and this number is set to grow further next year.
Hoseasons’ boss Simon Altham said that the operator had seen a trend for “holiday snacking” which involved families taking more varied holidays including UK short breaks closer to home.
“We’ve known for a while that families want to take shorter, more frequent breaks, but these figures clearly show that doesn’t mean compromising on quality,” added Altham.
“Hot tubs provide a real wow factor for customers looking to book a weekend away - especially those celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary.
“The bubbles add that extra element of fun while also delivering an affordable luxury experience they can’t get at home.”
