It comes as a survey by Travelzoo revealed that safety is now the most important consideration for British tourists when booking their summer breaks.
Some 71% of the 2,000 respondents said they were choosing destinations based on how safe they feel it is.
Although most said they would be reluctant to travel to the North African destinations immediately, 43% did admit they would be willing to travel to the resort in the near future.
Security beat affordability (52%) and good weather (42%) as Brits’ most important concern in the online survey, which studied the travelling habits of 2,000 customers.
