The tourist board has launched a number of resources to support the trade through the pandemic
Visit Jersey today launched a destination-focused hub in partnership with TTG to help the travel trade sell the destination in 2021.
The microsite on ttgmedia.com contains a competition to win a Jersey break, the latest news, product-based and educational features, a webinar, promotional videos and links to relevant websites and training courses.
Amanda Burns, chief executive at Visit Jersey, said: “We emphatically believe that for us to fully restore Jersey’s tourism industry we will need to work closely with travel agents in the UK and Ireland.”
“We know how much influence each agent has and how vital they have become in giving trusted information to their customers during these uncertain times, so we are supporting the efforts of all the hard-working travel agents by giving them tools to be able to sell Jersey, as well as having access to the latest safe travel guidelines,” she added.
The TTG Visit Jersey Hub will remain live for a year, be regularly updated and act as a useful reference tool for agents seeking information about selling holidays to the island.
