Air France’s budget carrier Joon is to serve the Ecuadorian capital Quito next summer, when the mainline carrier launches a new route to Dallas/Fort Worth.
Both new routes from Paris Charles de Gaulle will offer connections from Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Southampton and Exeter.
Joon begins the Quito route on May 14, when it will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday throughout the summer. Flights will leave CDG at 13.10. Joon will offer business and premium economy seating options. The flight is in addition to that of KLM’s, which offers a daily flight to Quito and Guayaquil from Schiphol.
Dallas will be Air France’s 13th US destination from Paris. It will operate three times a week from March 31 to June 30 and from September 4 to October 25. Two additional frequencies will be added in the intervening period.
Dallas flights will be operated by an Airbus A330 with business and premium cabins and leave Paris at 10.10.
