Laos in south-east Asia is planning to reopen for fully vaccinated travellers from 1 January.

Laos reopened its borders to international visitors this week

The country’s government will allow international tourists to travel within a “green zone”, with visitors having to fill in a one-page online form to secure a travel pass on Laos’ e-visa website or on arrival at Vientiane or Luang Prabang airports.

They will then have to take a PCR test and go through a 24-hour self-isolation period in their first hotel before being allowed to travel within the approved green zones.
