Latin Routes co-founder Martin Johnson has been named vice-chair of the Latin American Travel Association’s (Lata) executive committee.
Johnson, a TTG 30 Under 30 alumnus, said he felt "honoured" to have been elected to the position after joining the committee in 2018.
He tweeted: "Look forward to serving the membership in my new role, and further supporting the association."

Johnson first travelled to Latin America during a gap year 15 years ago. He initially planned only a few weeks in the region as part of an around-the-world trip, but soon instructed his father to sell his much-loved car to fund travelling for a further six months.
Travel to Latin America has remained a big part of his life ever since, as he went on to co-found operator Latin Routes in 2012 alongside fellow TTG 30 Under 30 Jess Dennison.
