South America specialist Latin Routes will continue to offer all of its clients reusable filter bottles for another year.
The operator has renewed its partnership with Water-to-Go as part of its commitment to reduce bottled water in single-use plastic from private transfers and tours.
Latin Routes says in the areas it operates, tap water is often of a lower standard than the UK, forcing visitors to rely on bottled water.
Water-to-Go’s reusable filter bottles are able to make this water safer, while also ensuring its operations are as sustainable as possible.
The contract was renewed at the Experience Latin America trade show in London, where the operator also committed to organiser Lata’s – the Latin America Travel Association – sustainability charter.
Martin Johnson, director of Latin Routes, said: “We as a business are determined to keep our commitment to sustainability and to reduce consumption of single-use plastics.
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Water-to-Go with an even larger order this year following tremendous success and popularity with our clients.”
