The 2019 ITT Conference will be held in Split, Croatia, chairman Steven Freudmann has revealed.
The event will take place from June 10-12 at the five-star Le Meridien Lav hotel, located around 6km from the city centre.
Two keynote speakers have already been confirmed – Alex Cruz, chief executive of British Airways and Johan Lundgren, chief executive of easyJet.
“Split is the second largest city in Croatia, and it’s an indescribable jewel of a place,” Freudmann told TTG. “The old city is just beautiful and the city is also the gateway to islands such as Hvar, so there are lots of excursion options available. The Croatian tourist board have also been incredibly supportive," he added.
Freudmann added that the city was well connected, with flights from a number of regional airports around the UK.
“We know that time is of the essence for many. We wanted to find somewhere that was convenient and close enough so that people didn’t have to take too much time out of the office.”
British Airways is offering 20% off flights for delegates who book before December 31.
Freudmann added that there were 400 places available, but that he anticipated these would be filled up “as has been the case in previous years”.
