London Travel Week Virtual is to start a weeklong series of online events on Friday (30 October).
The seven-day event, which runs until next Thursday (5 November) and is part of WTM Virtual, will feature a range of webinars and seminars designed to help the travel industry to “recover, rebuild and innovate”.
The event kicks off on Friday with sessions on The Future of Travel Marketing followed by the BAME Women in Travel organisation looking at how to diversify travel marketing.
The weekend’s activities include webinars from BBC Storyworks, while G Adventures’ founder Bruce Poon Tip will be looking at how to “retravel better” and talking to primatologist Dr Jane Goodall.
On Monday (2 November), WTM’s aviation expert John Strickland will look at why 2020 has been the “most unprecedented year” in aviation history.
Digital influencers will be the main focus on Tuesday (3 November) followed by Responsible Tourism Day on Thursday (4 November).
The final day of London Travel Week on 5 November will begin with a summit by TTG Media, WTM’s official media partner, with a half-day event, called Putting Travel Back on the Map, moderated by TTG editor Sophie Griffiths.
