The Times reports that company insiders have said that the appointment may also be related to possible “growth options” for the business.

The reported possible £100 million sale or float could mean lead to a multimillion-pound payout, although the company has declined to comment.

Government website Companies House shows that Loveholidays’ holding company Want2Bthere generated operating profits of £2.5 million and revenues of £23.3 million in 2016.

Loveholidays’ founders are Alex Francis and Jonny Marsh.
