Manchester airport has been announced as a sponsor of Birmingham’s LGBT Shout Festival for the next three years.
The Festival of Queer Arts and Culture will be supported by the airport in development and delivery of the 2017, 2018 and 2019 festivals.
As part of the sponsorship, the airport will host a VIP reception to launch the festival programme and will also help to deliver exhibitions, theatre, performance and film celebrating LGBT culture.
Patrick Alexander, head of marketing at Manchester airport, said: “Following supporting five UK Pride events this year, Shout’s ethos really suits our values.
"The festival provides us with an opportunity to thank the 270,000 passengers from the West Midlands who choose Manchester Airport each year.”
