According to reports from passengers, the row broke out just before the flight from Casablanca was due to land at Lisbon after one of two flight attendants forgot to latch a catering cart, strewing its contents over the aisle floor at the rear of the aircraft.
Alarmed passengers assumed there was a serious technical problem until they turned around and saw the two women having a full and frank discussion about what had happened.
The airline has apologized for the disturbance.
