Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have increased Turkey capacity by 60% and added new destinations from Birmingham and Stansted as part of their “biggest ever” programme for summer 2018.
The new programme will see almost one million extra seats, meaning an 11% increase in capacity.
A fleet of 82 aircraft will support the company’s biggest-ever flying programme, which covers 57 destinations and 292 routes in total.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate more than 2,000 weekly flights at peak times and more than 50,000 flights in total, giving holidaymakers more frequency and more flexible durations.
Changes include “significant expansion” of Halkidiki and Costa de Almeria. Both destinations will be available for the first time with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays for summer 2017 and are seeing growth for 2018.
Turkey has seen a 60% increase in capacity – more than 140,000 additional seats for summer 2018.
Jet2holidays and Jet2.com have also expanded “majorly” in Greece, with more than 250,000 additional seats for summer 2018. Kefalonia, Kos, Rhodes and Corfu have all grown.
There are also more than 75,000 additional seats to Italy, with Naples and Verona seeing growth.
Huge expansion to Cyprus will see more than 110,000 additional seats.
There has also been expansion of key city destinations, with major growth to locations including Krakow, Prague and Split.
Weeks after commencing flights and holidays from Stansted and Birmingham, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is announcing expansion next summer from both airports, with 13 new routes from Birmingham and five new routes from Stansted.
There is also significant growth at Belfast International with Northern Ireland holidaymakers set to enjoy eight brand new destinations, including six exclusive routes.
There are also new routes and more frequent flights at Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Edinburgh Airports.

The 13 new summer hotspots available from Birmingham are Antalya, Costa de Almeria, Larnaca (Cyprus), Kos, Krakow, Halkidiki (exclusive), Madeira, Malta, Naples, Prague, Rome, Split and Zante.
The five new summer hotspots available from Stansted are Bodrum, Costa de Almeria, Halkidiki, Kefalonia and Verona.
