Azamara has revealed plans to add a fourth ship to its fleet after new private equity owners Sycamore Partners purchased Pacific Princess.

The line has partnered with Starboard Cruise Services to provide a destination-tailored retail program, offering touchpoints curated for each Azamara voyage

Royal Caribbean sold the Azamara brand in March 2021

Following a full renovation, the ship – which is a Renaissance-class vessel similar to Azamara Pursuit, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest – is scheduled to sail its inaugural season under a new name in Europe in 2022.

The expansion news follows a recent announcement that Sycamore Partners had entered into an agreement to acquire Azamara from Royal Caribbean Group.

The deal is expected to close in Q1 of this year.
