New agents at the homeworking brand will now undertake mandatory Academy training to launch their business. All franchisees can also choose to enrol in the optional Mastery programme to become experts in areas such as cruise, skiing and golf, with cruise the first to launch.
In addition, Not Just Travel’s first Seminar at Sea will see hundreds of consultants gain cruise-specific training provided onboard NCL’s new ship Prima during a week-long trip.
NJT will also soon unveil its new phone-based app, which it claimed “will revolutionise the way NJT engages with existing and potential customers by creating new, streamlined ways of communicating”.
Co-founder Steve Witt said the initiatives were part of the “New NJT”.
“New NJT represents a shift in mindset, taking our already expert consultants and turning them into industry masters,” he said.
“Hundreds upon hundreds of existing travel consultants have taken the opportunity to recommit to us for the long-term because they want to be part of a winning, industry-leading team.”
NJT has boosted its business development team and now claims to have the highest support ratio offered by any UK travel franchise business.
Co-founder Paul Harrison said: “Our improved training programmes have been designed for busy, time-poor consultants who want to see quick returns on their investment. The New NJT frees up our consultants to do what they love and do best – selling holidays.”
