From 1am Saturday (22 January), those eligible will be able to enter the state without having to quarantine.
Fully vaccinated travellers will need to take rapid flow test within 24 hours of arrival and quarantine at home or in other accommodation until they receive a result.
Those who test negative will no longer have to isolate. Proof of vaccination is required to enter non-essential venues in Queensland.
Unvaccinated travellers are still required to observe a 14-day isolation period.
The Queensland government said travel restrictions will "ease further" when 90% of locals aged 16 or over are fully vaccinated.
