Gail Kenny Executive Recruitment has partnered with start-up Flexi Reps to try to retain industry talent amid the pandemic.
Gail Kenny has pledged to provide a pipeline of new sales professionals to boost Flexi Reps’ talent pool, while Flexi Reps, which offers field sales services, will share Gail Kenny’s recruitment opportunities with its clients to assist brands in areas where they may need additional support.
Launched in August by Craig Davidson and Kelly Freeth, Flexi Reps has stepped in to support brands who have been forced to make sales team staffing cuts due to the pandemic.
Gail Kenny said: “We love what Craig and Kelly have built in a really short space of time. We often have businesses ask us to find candidates for short-term trade sales projects, so now we have a ready solution to hand. We can introduce these business’s to Flexi Reps and help to keep talent in our industry.”
Davidson said: “We are thrilled to give people short-term projects and for many they are happy to do just that. There are however lots of people we talk to that are looking for more permanent positions. We can share the roles Gail has with our database and hopefully the candidates can land their dream job.”
He added how Flexi Reps has seen “a huge surge in interest” for its services following the government’s roadmap announcing on 22 February.
“What’s really clear for travel business is that we will have a summer,” added Davidson. “When non-essential shops can open again many trade operators will be very keen to get their messages out and their brands promoted.
“We have huge national reach with our available talent [and] we are ready, set and raring to help businesses reach a wider audience.”
