Regal Princess will replace Grand Princess in sailing from Southampton next summer, after Princess Cruises revealed changes to its 2021 deployment schedule.
Regal will sail on 17 round-trip departures from Southampton around the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and other popular destinations on the continent.
As a result of the switch, Regal’s South Pacific Crossing, and two Grand Princess seven-day Europe cruises will be cancelled.
Grand will now be redeployed to the West Coast for a new summer Mexico and California season, departing from Los Angeles - details of which will be announced later this summer.
Elsewhere, Majestic Princess will sail its inaugural Alaska season - replacing Regal - and operate Seattle Inside Passage departures from May to September, except Regal’s five-day Alaska Sampler itinerary on 4 May, which will be cancelled.
Guests booked on Regal’s Alaska itineraries will have their booking automatically moved to Majestic, while those booked on Grand’s Europe voyages will be switched on to Regal’s itineraries in Europe.
