TTG’s #SaveTravel letter demanding greater aid for the travel industry topped 2,200 signatures over the weekend.

Chief executive Julia Lo Bue-Said said the travel industry has "struggled" to get its "collective voice heard" by the government during the pandemic

Please help us keep the momentum going by encouraging your colleagues, friends and family to sign the letter, addressed to transport secretary Grant Shapps and chancellor Rishi Sunak.

Airlines UK chief executive Tim Alderslade said: "Our world-class aviation and tourism sectors are too important - culturally, strategically and economically - to be allowed to wither on the vine."

Claire Moore, Peakes Travel Elite managing director, added: "Without any support I fear for the future of my business and the industry as a whole."
