Luxury cruise line Seabourn will unveil new trade tools and sales assets during a fortnight-long celebration of its agent partners next month.
The line’s second global partner appreciation event will start on March 4, celebrating the “invaluable” support it has received from the trade over the past year.
Seabourn says the event, which will run until March 31, will “reinforce and strengthen” its sales team’s commitment to the line’s trade partners.
Complementary events will showcase the launch of Seabourn’s first expedition ships, its 2020 world cruise, its Ventures by Seabourn excursions and Seabourn Journeys land experiences.
During these events, the line’s UK sales team will present new trade tools and assets to help the trade boost Seabourn bookings.
Seabourn will host 13 partner appreciation events across the UK, starting March 11, nine of which agents can register for over March 11-19.
These include Newmarket (March 11), Birmingham and London (March 12), Glasgow and Bournemouth (March 13), Bristol (March 14), Altrincham and Gerrard’s Cross (March 17) and Walton-on-Thames (March 19).
“We call these ‘partner appreciation events’ because they are designed to show how much we value our travel agent partners,” said Seabourn director of sales UK and Ireland Wendy Lahmich.
“This year, we are extending the locations of our events from Bournemouth right up to Glasgow. We are truly excited about sharing Seabourn’s news, immersive videos and sales tools with agents across the UK.
“We are looking forward to meeting up with our valued partners and new-to-cruise agents, who will learn more about Seabourn and enjoy a few surprises.”
Any agents wishing to attend should email salessupport@seabourn.co.uk.
Seabourn is running a near month-long promotion alongside the events on select summer 2019 and winter/spring 2020 sailings to encourage bookings, which include veranda upgrades and complimentary shipboard credit.
Benefits for agents include commission bonuses, chances to an ultra-luxury cruise for two and additional rewards via the line’s relaunched training programme.
