Red Sea Holidays has placed Sharm el Sheikh back on sale after the UK government lifted its flight ban to the Egyptian resort.
Agents are now able to book the operator’s weekly charter flights from Gatwick back to Sharm using Enter Air, with the first service departing on 22 December.
Red Sea Holidays also offers three weekly flights to Hurghada from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester.
Earlier today, senior trade relations manager Ashley Secker said Red Sea’s office had been “absolutely buzzing” after the FCO relaxed its flight restrictions.
It no longer advises against all but essential travel by air to and from Sharm after a four-year ban having worked with Egyptian authorities to enable flights to resume.
Sharm’s prohibition by UK authorities followed the crash of a Russian Metrojet flight in North Sinai in October 2015 which killed 224 passengers and crew.
