Atcore’s reservation and e-commerce platform Tigerbay has become the new technology partner for the Saga holiday brands - Saga Holidays, Titan Travel and Saga Cruise.
The deal is expected to "extend over a 10-year period", Tigerbay said, as Saga selected the technology company in part for its future-proofed platform, which has been "built to withstand the continued growth and shifts of technology in the coming years".
Saga will initially roll the platform out across Titan Travel, which will make use of the existing extensive tours functionality of Tigerbay to manage its tours business. Saga Holidays will use new packaging functionality in its “Stay” business and the Saga Cruise brand will also implement the new technology to promote its cruise product.
In addition, all three Saga brands will use Tigerbay’s latest API to enhance their current websites, and develop a new B2B website for agents.
