The draw is being made today, with the winner in line to be given an exclusive 16-room retreat, around 3,000 miles south-west of Hawaii.
The resort’s owners are an Australian couple Doug and Sally Beitz, who decided to raffle the Kosrae Nautilus Resort instead of putting it on the open market.

They moved to the remote island, which is home to around 6,500 people, in the 1990s, however they now wish to return home to Australia to spend more time with their grandchildren.

Doug Beitz said: "We’ve tried to market it in a way where we are attracting people like ourselves."
The resort is described as being popular for diving and fishing, is debt free and is profitable. The prize incudes the manager’s four-bedroom residence, five rental cars, two-seater vans, a pick-up truck and the resort restaurant.
The couple had originally said a minimum of 50,000 tickets would need to be sold, but that figure has now been passed by at least £3,000, according to Sky News.
The pair now stand to make more than £2 million from the raffle.
