Escorted tour specialist Trafalgar has announced its return to operations with a range of “hassle-free” European trips departing this autumn.
Its Best of Europe 2020 series will take guests to Italy, Spain, Greece and France in September and October with enhanced hygiene protocols put in place.
Offered only to Brits, Trafalgar will run 15 departures across eight itineraries to “green-lighted” European countries under the government’s new traffic light system - due to be outlined this week.
Tours will have a maximum group size of 26 - with those of more than 20 accompanied by a wellness director to provide “support to guests in a post-Covid world”, with an on-the-road Trafalgar team also available to offer help.
Director of sales and business development UK and Ireland, Rachel Coffey, said Trafalgar wanted to appeal to the pent-up demand for travel, while recognising the “challenging times” facing customers looking to head overseas.
“Each trip features the highlights and exclusive experiences of a Trafalgar holiday, whilst giving guests the essential reassurance that their wellbeing is in good hands,” she said.
“It can be hard to navigate the differing regulations and approaches in each country, and our message is we have done all that due diligence so that our guests don’t have to.
“We’ve eliminated the barriers and confusion, allowing guests the total freedom to enjoy their well awaited holidays. They can also travel in the knowledge that in holidaying with Trafalgar, they are giving back to local communities and supporting a much-needed reboot of the economy.”
