TransIndus has introduced a new Covid-19 flexible booking promise, and has pledged to further reduce the size of its groups.
The operator’s new amendment guarantee allows travellers to postpone their holiday to any departure up to 30 September 2021, or move their holiday to any of TransIndus’s other Asian destinations.
The guarantee also allow clients to make a one-off name change before flight tickets are issued. Changes can be made up to 30 days before departure.
Any additional costs, or savings, will be passed on.
TransIndus has also cut deposits to 10% of the overall holiday cost.
Managing director Amrit Singh said: "We understand that during these times, committing to and paying a deposit for a big holiday in 2021 may seem as daunting as the prospect of not having a holiday at all, especially after spending all of spring and summer in lockdown.
"We hope these changes to our booking conditions provide our valued customers with the confidence and security to begin planning their next holiday."
Group sizes, meanwhile, have been reduced from 16 to eight to 10 "to facilitate social distancing while being able to enjoy the camaraderie of travelling in a group".
The operator said the move would guarantee access to off-the-beaten-track destinations, and allow for more meaningful interaction with guides and local hosts.
Partner hotels will adhere to new post-Covid cleaniness and hygiene standards too; hotel staff will be required to wear PPE, rooms will be disinfected and left empty for up to 72 hours between guests, seating will be reconfigured to comply with social distancing, and hand sanitiser and PPE will be included in guests’ welcome packs.
