The B2B wholesale accommodation supplier has seen 462% growth since 2014, with annual turnover for 2016 predicted to reach €42.7 million. Next year the Wandsworth-based company predicts €75 million in turnover.

As a result, it has recruited three new team members covering sales, marketing and product.

Denise Atkinson joins from JacTravel, and will take up the role of key account manager. She brings 21 years’ experience in the travel industry and will now be tasked with expanding the customer base.

Raul Santiago, meanwhile, joins from Sehrs, one of the largest travel groups in Spain. As Travellanda’s new product manager, he will spearhead the product department, managing existing suppliers along with bringing in new contracts to further enhance the product portfolio.

Robin O’List has also been appointed as marketing manager. O’List has vast experience working with multilingual e-commerce companies, developing marketing campaigns and previously worked for HotelTravel.com, part of MakeMyTrip, one of the largest OTAs in south-east Asia.

Travellanda, which was founded in 2010, also has local offices in Istanbul, Bangkok and representatives in 10 countries. It features an inventory of more than 200,000 hotels worldwide, plus extensive accommodation and services for groups visiting UK and Ireland.

Travel agencies, operators, B2B online systems and OTAs can access Travellanda’s hotels via XML connectivity or white label.
