TTG’s Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders walked blindfolded around the perimeter of Richmond Park on Sunday to get a taste of what it’s like to cope with blindness and partial sightedness.
The 30 Under 30 group are raising money for their nominated charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Rosie Stone, assistant manager of Flight Centre in Kingston upon Thames and member of 30 Under 30 2015/16, said: “This four hour mental and physical challenge gave us a small insight into the struggles that blind and partially-sighted people encounter every day, and the huge difference that a Guide Dog can make to their life. We hope our challenge encourages you to donate and support our mission!”
The group has already raised £1,400, and donations are still being accepted online at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ttgtasmintrail
