A new animated fly-through (above) highlights the key features that will define Docklands airport’s future and demonstrates a typical passenger journey.
New facilities will be delivered through 2022, including new check-in areas, security, departures lounge, baggage reclaim, arrivals and gate lounges.
The video illustrates the different features tailored for both leisure and business passengers, reflecting what the airport describes as its “evolving customer base”.
City airport says while business travel “remains at the core London City’s proposition”, it expects, over the coming years, its proportion of leisure passengers to continue to increase.
